Release Notes

Verified Linux native and WebAssembly downloads

The native standalone distribution contains kaya, kayad and their required colocated kaya-tool-server. The daemon owns the HTTP/session service and language execution. Core execution needs neither Bun nor Node. Optional React/TSX rendering requires separately installed Node, tsx and React; native conversion operations may need external tools. See media rendering for those dependencies.

WebAssembly runtime downloads

Verified browser runtime v0.1.0

Exact compiled source: b223c2f135b93076e8e81b76db37a4a6fb1bf7c6 (feat-release-0-1-0-frozen-source)

Third-party notices

Serve the complete extracted runtime over HTTPS or localhost. The qualified host is Chromium with module Workers, OPFS, Web Locks and BigInt. Keep all SQLite, regex, declarations and notice files together. Static consumers need no Bun, Node or daemon. Model endpoints require compatible CORS and your own private credentials.

Availability, commands and downloads for candidates and final releases appear only after the exact manifest and public installation have been verified. Commands select an explicit version. Candidates are opt-in; a final release does not itself select the stable channel. The full browser runtime, private model setup and runnable examples are implemented in the source distribution. Download offers above require the exact public bytes and matching consumer qualification for each distribution. The /try IDE remains a separate website milestone.

Application integrations

  • WebAssembly setup describes the complete static runtime, its browser requirements, and the separate syntax and presentation components. The WebAssembly guide distinguishes source integration from the verified complete runtime archive.
